October in One of Doctor Podray’s Favorite Months

October is one of Dr. Susan Podray’s favorite months. Autumn is in the air, Halloween family fun events it is also National Dental Hygiene and Orthodontic awareness month.

To help spread awareness about the importance of Orthodontics and Hygiene we offer a plaque disclosing treatment to all our patients. What is this treatment? It involves a gentle staining procedure that colors dental plaque bugs in bright purple or red so that you can see where to improve. Serenity Orthodontics staff is happy to review brushing and flossing. This hands on exercise can offer some tips and tricks from our pros.

Teeth that are aligned with orthodontics not only lead to a more confident smile, but straight teeth are easier to keep clean. Clean teeth have lower incidence of periodontal inflammation and caries.
